Parcel 393 - 31 Acres

This property is located across from Historic Fort Selden. It is in an ideal location approximately ½ mile from Interstate 25 and a few hundred yards from the Rio Grande River.
Spectacular views of the valley, and the Robledo Mountains.
For centuries the site of Fort Selden had been the Paraje de Robledo, a campsite long the course of the El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro. The campground or paraje was named for an old Spanish soldier on the 1598 expedition of Juan de Ornate, Pedro Robledo, who died and was buried there.
It became known as the La Cruz de Robledo because of the cross originally marking his grave there. Later the name was shortened to Paraje Robledo.
This was the 1st stop along the Rio Grande River before the Camino Real left the river to enter the Jornada del Muerto on the way north towards Santa Fe.
